There are over 200 varieties of irises, but none quite as unique as the Black Flowered Siberian Iris. It's deep purple blooms appear to be black when out of direct sun. Black Flowered irises can grow up to 42" in height, making them an excellent border plant. They are also excellent as a cut flower in bouquets as a unique way to bring darker colors into an arrangement.
